Boomstick!!! All done and ready to meet Bruce

Just finished making my Boomstick! It is a double barrel shot gun that I have restored. Took it all apart and sanded it down, cut the barrel and re blued all the metal parts. Wood stock was sanded down to raw wood then distressed and re stained to give it and aged look. I get to meet Bruce Campbell on Aug 13 and plan on having him sign the stock. Can't wait to meet him and see his reaction. :)

Batman Gotham Public Works Topper and Wall Art are Done!!!!

Just finished up making the Gotham Public Works topper and wall art. They are all airbrushed and almost 9in wide and made from solid resin plastic. Toppers come with a "L" bracket for mounting on top of your game. The wall arts have a hanging bracket attached to the back of them. Head over to the site and check them out.

Simpsons Pinball Hardware is done!!!!

A while ago I had started playing with a nuclear green powder coat and a glow additive. I was able to make it glow but when the game is on you do not see it glowing. The lights from the backglass and playfield are to bright. The only time you would see it glow was when all lights and games where off.

With that in mind and the legs not always getting enough light to glow bright enough we have decided to offer it in the Nuclear Green but without the glow. If however you would still like to glow in it we can do that for an upgrade charge.

Buzz Lightyear Themed Hyperball Update

So I did a quick (very quick) photoshop job of what colors and designs I want to do on this game. Now again I must stress that the photoshop pics was done very fast. Just references for me to see what colors to do where and what to powder coat what. Still need to come up with an idea for the backglass. The playfield is going to be all redone and the aliens added to it. I am going to make the letters into space rocks with the letters on the rocks and the aliens around them. More updates to follow but just wanted to show really quick what I am planing on doing.

I have been kicking around a few ideas to make a new design for my buddies company. He and his wife own "The Deadite Empire", Florida's premiere zombie social club. If you live in Florida and don't know who they are, what's wrong with you!?! Even the dead know about them. ;) They run Zombie events all year round in and are the main headliners for The Spooky Empire Expo. So if your in Florida and want to have a kick ass spooky time, look them up!

Family Guy Topper and Wall art!?!?!

Came up with a possible new topper for Family Guy. Thinking of making it about 8in tall. It will be laser out or two layer acrylic and then I will make a metal bracket for it to attach to the top of the game.

I was also thinking of making these signs life size, meaning the same size as the ones on the street. I was thinking about making them out of metal, powder coat them safety yellow and the paint in the images and clear over it all.

Most of this will depend on what everyone thinks of it. So let me know :)

Michigan Trophy's are Done!!!!!!

Michigan Pinball Expo Trophy's are all done! Hope everyone likes them. This year they were made from a resin rather then the plaster that we had made them from last year. Also John had decided on a silver wash paint job for them this year. Last year we had painted them a graphite gray.

Good luck to everyone who is competing and hope it is a great show.

Just bought a Hyperball machine to re theme. I plan on making it Buzz Lightyear vs Zurg. Cabinet will be repainted, new custom backglass, remade playfield, LED lights and Custom made figures. I plan on having it done in time for the 2011 Pinball Expo in Chicago. Should be done sooner but I will have it at the Expo none the less. Lots of work ahead on it. New Pinball Half Black Half Chrome!!!

Got it up on the website now. The new ball is half black and half chrome. This ball looks awesome in play. I had it on test at the Chicago Expo and got great feedback from people. Best feedback I heard was that it was easy to follow. No longer should the ball being all black be a problem to see. This ball almost flashes as it rolls. Hope everyone likes the new ball and I will have a lot of other updates in the next few weeks. Thanks!

Spider man Wall art all done!!!

Finished up the wall art just in time for the expo (thanks to my awesome laser engraver). Thanks Stacy! They were a big hit and everyone loved them. They are about 2 feet tall and about 10 in wide. They are made from mirrored red and black arcylic and have a web design laser etched into them, along with another layer of solid black or gray acrylic glued on top of that in the shape of a half spider. We will have them on the website to purchase in a few days with all the final detail pics and sizes. Till then here are a few pictures of what they look like.

Final touches on LOTR Hardware

Finished up the hardware last night but need to take the machine into the paint booth to get some good pictures of it. The lighting in the front room is bad for detail pictures and showing true colors. None the less to a few sneak peak pics of it on the game, but keep in mind they were not the best pictures of it. I will have better pictures in a few days and it will be on the website as well.

LOTR Hardware update, Siderails

Just finished up the LOTR siderails. Had to hand paint each of them, but I think they came out really nice. Can wait to put it back on the machine and see how it looks. Still have the lockdown bar to do but will do that tomorrow night. Hope everyone likes.

Simpsons Glow in the dark Radioactive Green Hardware!!!

Just got the green and the glow in the dark laid out on the 2 sample pieces. The green is perfect and really looks like a Cartoon Radioactive Green color. ( sorry the picture does not do it justice) I have some more testing to do on the glow in the dark factor. It glows just fine in the dark but when you turn on the game the playfield lights drown out the glow. Looks awesome when not on but not sure if the glow would be worth the money. Ether way I will be offering the Radioactive Green color for the Simpsons and I believe it would look great on Big Bang Bar too. More updates to follow and it will be at the expo to check out.

New Batman Topper and Wall Decoration!!!!

New Batman topper and wall art piece. Plan on having it ready for expo and gonna offer it in a few colors. I am thinking a gold like in the picture and a silver. You will be able to hang it on the wall as decoration or you can use it as a pinball topper. It is about 8in round. Hope everyone likes.

LOTR Hardware in the works!!

Just finished up the powder coating on the hardware for the LOTR. I went with a rust color that Kat had picked out. It is a nice old leather color brown, that has black and reds swirled into it and gives it a textured look. I still need to add in the wording from the inside of the ring. I plan on writting the letters in gold down the siderails. Will have it done at at the expo for everyone to see. The pictures below don't do the color enough justice.

Today I went to Wizard World Comic convention with Kat and my Dad. I made this painting for him to have signed by Adam West and Burt Ward. I must say that both West and Ward are really great guys. Both liked the painting and signed it to my dad. My Dads was like a kid for the rest of the show showing everyone. Glad you like your gift and Happy Birthday Pops!

They are done!!!!!! Just finished up all of the Pinbrawl Trophy! Had about 50 of them to make. Everyone can pick there trophy up at the Michigan Pinball Expo this week. It was great working with John and we hope they have a great show this weekend. Now back to working on the Spiderman mods!!!

Weekend Projects 6-5-10

Spent most the weekend working on touching up the Pinbrawl trophys and preping them to prime/paint. I also poured a few Spider-man Buildings to get a jump start on them. Scott is working on the light mod for them and should be done very soon, which means the release for the buildings will happen in the next few weeks. :) Finally!!! :)

I have also started to make the other Batman mods and poured the mock ups of those. Finally,I had drawn up a layout for a set of Chicago Bears Bean Bag boxes for a friend of mine. Will get to painting them in the next few days after Kat gets the final prep work and priming done to it.

Here is a first look at the mock up pieces for the Iron Man Hardware Kit. It is a candy apple red and with it being a candy it does look different in different lighting. The truest shot of the actual color is at 1min 17 seconds in til the end of the clip. I will have a full HD video of how the pieces look once I have them all done. PinBrawl Trophy

Just finished casting the 33rd trophy and finished all of the layout for the plates to be laser for it. I know everyone has been bugging Koz about when he is gonna get them done and I am here to say that it will not be much longer. I have to double check the spelling on the plates and then it's off to laser them. I should have all of the trophy's painted by the end of the weekend. I am guessing that they should be done and ready to ship by the 12th as long as they don't get held up at the laser engraver. Not much longer...hang in there guys ;) Thanks

Iron:Man Hardware Kit

Went to Mike from Great American Pinball's house on Monday and tested out the Iron:Man Hardware Kit. The candy Red looks great on the machine, I still have a lot more detail work to do to the lockdown bar as well as a really custom mod for the lockdown bar. I should have a video of the hardware to post in the next few days to show the true color of the hardware. Til then I have a picture here and a link to view a few more.
